Jordan Hoffman (@jhoffman on Twitter) is a writer and critic based in New York City. His work has appeared in the New York Daily News, VanityFair.com, the Times of Israel, and Mashable. He is also the host of Engaged, the official Star Trek podcast.
Jordan was a guest on the Blue Steel episode of Blank Check. He was initially considered for the Near Dark episode, though he said he did not personally have any connection to that film. By contrast, with Blue Steel he did connect emotionally with Ron Silver's performance as a psychopath, as well as relate to its depictions of gender politics and the culture of New York City police in the 1980's.
